“ The food was very, very delicious. I got a Tom’s burger (bacon, caramelized onion, white cheese) and it was cooked well. The bacon was good quality, unlike cheap thin bacon typically gracing burgers. The bun was perfect -high quality with good chew. The fries were also fantastic -similar to hand-cut fair fries and perfectly salted. The prices are a a smidge high, about 10-12 for a burger or sandwich (my burger was 11). The environment is comfortable and laid back -it’s an old bar, but a good one. The proprietors are very friendly. ”
“ Great Local pub. Was passing through on a motorcycle. My Girl and i passed by it ( easy to miss) turned around because it looked like a good local saloon. Had 6 bikes sitting outside. At first, I thought it may have been a clubhouse . I have good intuition when it comes to deciphering a saloon from a pub . This saloon was exactly that A Great ole’school Saloon and full of good local folks sitting out front on the patio/beer sidewalk eating good food,talking &telling stories while enjoying some good laughs. Acouple of the local kats came over to welcome us, it was a Great stop. we’ll be back next again and next stop we’ll show up with empty bellys to enjoy some of that good food we saw the folks eating . thanks for the hospitality.
